WELCOME EVERYONE!
Over my twenty-plus-year career, I have consulted, consoled, laughed with and trained over 2,000 dog owners in their home! Yes dog owners! No matter what your circumstance, economics, breed of choice the dream is to have it all! The great relationship, the house, the job, the kids and the dog! What about those busy days from hell at work or those days when the phone or the doorbell never stops ringing and the puppy is peeing. Or God forbid, your dog bites the neighbor’s child. You do not need to think like a dog in order to know how to have a well-mannered pet or to know how to prevent an accident from happening. I differ from other trainers and behaviorists because my approach speaks to the dog owner, not at the dog owner. I teach people how to fit their dog’s needs into their busy lifestyle! Answering dog owner “what if’s” has become my specialty over the years. Simply said, as a dog matures, unwanted behaviors can develop and dog owner circumstances change. Over a fifteen-year period, the life span of your dog, we move, get a partner, sometimes marry, sometimes divorce, add multiple dogs, get a C.A.T, get pregnant, or already have children! Don’t get me started…. Every stage of life for a dog and owner brings new challenges and issues. Surviving everyday life with a dog means solving such behaviors as; barking, whining, biting bolting, chasing, chewing, digging, destroying furniture, goosing guests, pooping, stealing food, jumping and humping and an array of other delinquencies are not always breed or puppy exclusive. Many of dog owners feel they need therapy or to win the lottery in order to rescue their relationship. Teaching people how to time manage and apply dog training and behavioral techniques around real-life situations is the key. My simple approach and quick tips show dog owners how, why and where we need to use crates, gates, leashes and toys in order to create that great family dog. Whether you are a busy executive with no time, elderly, pregnant or a mother of three doggedly challenging moments happen and here is some humor and some help. Inger
